Why do you want to feed her a pinkie? They're typically only recommended as supplemental fat/calcium for breeding females...

Are you not supposed to? I've read in several books that they can be a tasty treat once and awhile.

I tired to give my girl one a few months ago and she just licked the head, took a testing nibble of the tail and walked away.

Pinkies are high in fat and hard to digest for leos, but they do contain a ton of calcium. The only regular use for them in leos is hard breeding females and even then they aren't necessarily recommended. Maybe once a year. There are some mixed feelings about using them, but definitely not a regular treat by any means.

She sounds to be of a fine size to take a pinkie, but I agree there may not be a good reason to feed one.
