Humidity question

Saverpitball Jan 25, 2008 08:16 PM

I am am planning to make my own snake rack, And this humidity thing bothers me....
Most racks i have seen have their ventilation on the lid consisting of screen/clothwire place in top of the box/ rubbermaid.
I just want to know how could you regulate the humidity if the top part of the box is open?
Will the humidity of the room will be the same as the box?

In my experiences the tub humidity may run a little lower than the room. I use some freedom breeder open top racks, I try and keep the humidity in the room around 65%. This keeps it about 60% in the tub. I also use closed top, with holes, vision racks. The humidity stays pretty level with the room in there.
