Hi, my retic has 2 shelters in her cage, one in the hot side and another in the cold side, but I realized about that she chose the shelter not becuase of the temperature inside of it, if not due to the nearness of it (if I leave her nearer to the hide box in the hot side she will use it). Thats why Ithink that if use shredded nuews paper as subtrate she could stay where the tempearture is more onfortable for her without feelling exposed.
