New beardie just died

jess6448 Jan 26, 2008 05:25 PM

I recently got a female bearded dragon (3 days ago) She appeared pretty healthy other than a messed up foot. I'm guessing she was around 6 months old. Yesterday she started acting really lethargic and then like an hour ago I went to check on her and she was dead. I'm really upset even though it's obvious it wasn't my fault. I just don't know what happened and I feel horrible. I'm not sure why I posted this but I was just REALLY upset and thought maybe someone had answers. Thanks!

RIP Molly!

Sorry for your loss. I really can't venture a guess without a lot more information. Could it have been something she ate? Could she have overheated?

No I have a male dragon too and the temperature is the same in both tanks. She really didn't eat anything after I got her but her weight seemed fine.
