feeding womas during breeding cycle

Dewback Jan 26, 2008 06:18 PM

I have read and been told conflicting things on feeding womas during breeding. I brought mine to a good weight until they both stopped eating. They bred for about two months now. The mating has recently stopped and the female shed her skin four days ago. I can't tell if she is gravid but I know she is hungry since she gets extremely aggressive when she wants to eat (she bit and wrapped me the other day while I was trying to examine her). Would it be safe to feed her something small?

I continue feeding my breeders small meals as long as they'll accept them....haven't had any problems.
