Neat looking snakes. So, are they current pics of 2007 babies? If so, it looks like their color is progressing like many of the anerys I've seen. I'd love to know a little bit about the parents. Are they from the Seib or Sharp line? Are the parents sibs? Are they hets? The pic is nice, now let's have some details. Thanks in advance!

Nope... my line. Don't know if they are compatible to Seib's or Sharp's lines. I produced quite a few anerys last year. First produced them three years ago from het x het but I had multiple males breeding that year so it took me last year to figure out who my het breeder male was. Line bred from WC stock. I actually starting breeding the BRBs because I wanted high orange/red ones and out pops colorless ones
You can see some of the bright orange sibs of the anerys on KS classifieds under my initials. Some anerys I produced this year are still very clean and crisp looking so far. Prolly end better looking as adults than previous years. Forget the anerys! I want Ian G. to post some picts of his pure amel BRBs he produced last year! Can't wait to get my hands on those and breed it into my high orange lines. TC
How long has Ian had the amel out of curiosity cuz if he produced some last year then he mated it in '04 and when did he buy from Snakes at Sunset if you don't mind me asking. You prolly don't want to breed the high oranges into the albino but it would be nice if Ian showed pics but I wouldn't hold your breath on that one but if you do get him to show pics I'll give you a dollar

p.s. got any pics of the your het parents on hand???
Umm... don't know any of answers to the questions on Ian's amel BRB project. He just told me in person at the White Plains show that he produced some and they are stunners compared to the amel colombian rainbows. Someone did take picts of the babies but it's gonna be used in the upcoming BRB book and are unavailable. The het anery parents of my anerys are bright orange animals. Didn't take any picts on them. Too lazy to take picts today
You can get an idea on how bright orange they are by looking at the possible het anery baby BRBs I posted on KS for sale. TC
They will be unavailable for quite some time I would imagine too. I have seen your ads numerous times on ks and I can't wait to get my male anery in prolly '09 maybe '10. I also have a few possible het anery's myself and they are definately carrying the hypo gene
.1 hypo
1.1 hets
and I plan on trying to acquire another pair this year or just a lone het female (no chance of carrying the anery gene but carrying some color making genes from Dave
)but definately need a hypo male cuz my boy will just have too much on his plate
thanks for sharing the info and yes they are more colorful than the colombians but look similar to the amel argentine in pattern though not quite as bright in color. Ian also has another one that I would love to see pics of his Licorice Brazilian. Ian has quite a few projects on his plate along with his many ball projects.

Don't worry, I'm gonna shake Ian down for some more information at the Hamburg show
By the way my BRBs are selling, I'll have a whole armada of anery BRBs in three years! Hahaha... TC
