hi everyone, i'm new to the forums and i found this newt who's hind legs and tail had been mostly crushed by something and a large part of his tail is missing. i took him in to see if i could help him recover and then try and release him but i dont know how or what to feed him and what kind of aquarium setup to use(eg. substrate and water).
i am not sure what kind of newt he is either, but hes about 3 inches long and black with a large orange stripe on his back and a gray belly with alot of white spots on it. i will post some pics of him as soon as he gets used to his new environment.
