hi Tyler, The pic of the caudoleni looks suspicious. I would flip that thing over and look for eggs. I hope its a female, cause if its a male, we are in trouble.(a common problem with monitors) Good luck, cheers

what are you referring to frank? Just asking for my own peace of mind since I can't surmise much other than its looking a little heavy in the midsection (fatty liver or something?)...anyways thanks as always

The trouble is, we call them one sex, when in fact, they may be the other sex. I do not take much stock in what sex we call them. I do take a lot of stock in the sex they end up. You know, laying eggs is normally for females, but somehow every now and then, ones we call male are actually not males.

Let me try again, the ones that lay eggs ARE females, no matter if we call them males.

So I do not care what sex I call them. I still check and see if they are gravid. Cheers
