Daring Escape

Earlier today I was sitting on the couch on my laptop with my cornsnake in my hand. When it started to slither up my arm, normally this wouldn't be a problem, but my brother wanted me to watch this trick of his with a ball. Then, I suddenly realized my corn snake had slithered along my shoulders and behind me somewhere! I was scared stiff because I'd heard an endless amount of stories about young cornsnakes slithering into couch seets and never being seen again. After we'd moved all of the pillows, seat cushions, and slid the could back VERY SLOWLY (we didn't want to squish it by mistake) my brother spotted it in the the grove in the window sill that the window slides back and forth on. The poor thing was freezing when I took it about into it's cage, and it went straight for the heated end of its tank.

I'm never taking my eyes of him for even one second again.

LOL!,....that's a VERY good idea, I can tell you from decades of experience that this has happened to me many times, although I hate to admit it..LOL!. Keeping "un-smart" moves to an absolute minimum is my motto!

Glad you found it,.....I've lost a good number of snakes before, NEVER to be seen again...GRRR!
