I bought some really nice small ones at Petsmart for like $5.00 each. Ron

The Crawl Space
I got some at Michaels just a few days ago and in varieties I've never seen before. The bigger ones(10-12in)are on sale for 8 bucks and the smaller ones(6-8in)arranged in fours go for 15-20 bucks. The quality is quite good, and in my opinion, they look and feel much more realistic than the ones "made" for "reptiles"... they're not too stiff. I'm going touch mine up to make them look even more realistic. You should hurry though, they are running out of them... some are on sale!
You could also try a crafts store or a store that sells fake plants if you don't have a Michaels where you live. You could try the fashion district area in downtown L.A. if you live in the area.
Did they have cactus? PetCo has a nice large cactus plant I wanted but that was the one for $30.
I saw some succulents types, haworthias, agave/century plant, sansevierias, and other cactus barrel/san pedro type cactus.
I bought some at Michaels also. They were pretty cheap, $6-12.
Iuse a small dish with plaster of paris for a base, drilled a hole in the center, and burried it in the sand.Looks like a desert.
