Large lump on back

mobmilli92 Jan 30, 2008 08:10 AM

Our girl has been developing a large lump on her back. She had surgery on the spot back in Oct- the dr said there was a little puss indicating infection but the rest of the lump was bone and couldn't be removed.

It really looks to appear the lump is getting large again. It's extremely hard and doesn't feel like it's filling up with liquid.

Anyone have any idea what could be causing this growth? I'm looking for a better vet here in the DFW area.

a large lump on the back could be anything.. an abcess, badly healed bone, tumor etc... a picture will be useful. You can also check the following address for reptile vets in your area.

We had xrays done today and she has multiple tumors. We don't know how much longer she has- as long as they stay away from her spine- she has a bit more time.
