nice looking leo. She's even got some finger nails. is that what I see.
Your leo was being bad,....
but my Claiborne, she's a really bad one.
My concern is that she's a hot female I bought 2 years ago.
I put her and Josalen ( 15 grams smaller and a nice one - never an evil eye from her)into Joal's cage hoping to breed. I was itching to take one of the girl's out because I saw the bully in Claiborne and Joal. I'm pretty sure the 20 grams more to Joal, Claiborne was the one that bit/chewed 40% of josalen's tail when I went to work. I caught them (Claiborne & Joal -- after separating Josalen)breeding a lot the first 2 weeks or so, but not lately, and the boy, Joal has a little scratch on his back that i noticed today. The leopard Gecko manual says breeding is jan-end of summer, so i was gonna leave them together till then. her personal cage is empty, and should I seperate the pair? I have an itch that I should, but the scratch is small and minor - I might be making it into something bigger than it is. I'll get another opninion when my husband gets home from work.
Any thoughts are well-appreciated. Been meaning to email questions to a breeder that sold me my pre-teen boy, Hagan.
As for the injured G.G. She got stitched up nicely, treated with antibiotics, tail washes and tail cream. She just shed 5 days ago and looking better. I'll eventually post an updated pic of G.G., the sweatheart. I felt so guilty through this drama of Josalen's injury, feeling better, and hoping for the best.
As for the weather in the Carolinas, it's chilly, pretty fair. Maybe with this warmer weather, they don't think it's breeding time anymore as much -so best to separate the Bully, Claiborne?? I love her just as much, she gets along with humans
She just doesn't get along with G.G. (maybe Joal, too) -- or it might be a love hate relationship with some roughness during breeding. I just don't know????
Thought i'd share some pics of some Gecko Drama in my life....
