I lost it. The hatchling that came home with mites died tonight. I'm not sure if the mites killed it or what, but it's dead none the less. I'm going to bed before anything else goes wrong.

Hello and you have mine and my wifes condolences! Was this your first snake? I know how losing a snake can be hard we just lost one of our amel hatchlings due to human error...sad when it comes to humans being the ones.
Odds are the mites indeed are the culprit as they can severly weaken even an adult snake not to mention a hatchling if not caught and treated early.
