A Few New Aquisitions

fgs Jan 30, 2008 05:58 PM

The first photo is of a male Jungle that I got from Phil Hoerner, but originally bred by Mark Haude. The second and third photos are of a female red albino and one of her het for red albino sisters bred and purchased from Matt Crabe.

I hope everyone is having a great season.

You know, Phill must have a screw loose to let that stunner go!!!!

Congrats!!!

While the red albino is really nice, I like her sister much better, that striping looks really cool!!

Great acquisitions my friend!!

it's Mark Hauge!

Sorry but I just couldn't resist after you called me to verify who produced the Jungle male and I even spelled Mark's last name for you.

My excuse is that I'm getting old. My notes from our earlier conversation show that I heard you say that Mark's last name was spelled Haude not Hauge.

You're such a Turkey........

Hey Brian,

See what I mean - it's hard to capture the color on that albino. She looks great, but I know she looks better in person and in natural light. Thanks again and we'll have to trade some red albino motleys in the future.

Matt

Matt:

I'll be taking some outdoor photos once it warms up.

I hope to capture her true beauty then.

Thanks so much for the two females Matt.

Red Albino Motleys should look very nice.

Well my snakes serve a second purpose...they keep my family out of my house

geckomill Jan 31, 2008 01:10 AM

Didnt Phil post that jungle in the classifieds and then later have a discussion on this forum that ended in him deciding to keep that boa?? I was gonna call him when my tax return came and try to talk him into selling it but you beat me to the punch! Anyway, i know you have some nice snakes to pair it with, congrats on the new addition

fgs Jan 31, 2008 12:19 PM

Yes it is the same snake. Phil and I are very good friends. I was very instrumental in talking him out of selling the male jungle about a month ago. At the time I was honestly looking out for Phils best interest, but after he called me last week asking to purchase some ball pythons I began to wonder if Phil would consider a trade. I sweetened the deal and made him an offer he could not refuse which included a baby jungle from the first litter.

We both walked away with smiles on our face. That's my definition of a good deal.

The photo below is of my Silvera Female. She will be one of the jungle's first girl friend.

I can't wait to see the jungles that come from this project.

Brian needs to take better pics!!!

Brian came over last night to shoot the breeze, check out animals and pick up some feeders. He brought along his three new acquisitions. All three are simply beautiful!!!

The male jungle is sibling to my pair and although he was a bit in shed I could easily see the quality of his jungle traits!!!
Brian's male...

My sibling Male Woody...

And sibling Female Bo-Peep (all three F2's from Mark Hauge)...

The Matt Crabe rad albino female is MUCH better looking in person, this pic does nothing to capture the true amount or quality of color in her

And the sibling het is stunning as well, dripping with color and even my wife caught the "headlights" asking why the eyes looked that way.

Any or all three would be welcome in my collection (as if Brian would part with them)
