me, hopefully within the next year or so . . .
Matthew,
I'm hoping to acquire a pair sometime in the near future. Did you get yours from Ron St. Pierre? If I purchased an albino female and a 66% het what's the likelyhood that I'd produce albinos?
Frank
Hi-
I'm not sure if there are other factors involved or not, but if tegu genetics are simple mendelian, a cross between an albino and "66% possible het" (for albino) blue; you have 33% chance albino, & 66% chance blue (het for albino). Obviously, if your first clutch has no albinos your tegu is not het, this changes your future odds dramatically. But, 33% is much better than any gamble in vegas!
Hope this helps,
Byron
i can't remember the owner's name, but he runs MIA reptiles. it's address is 12344 sw 131 ave. miami, FL 33186. phone number is 305-278-9280. i don't know what, if any, he has left this year, but he produces albino blues and albino blue hets. see what he's got. i dunno where you are or whether or not he'll ship, but it's worth a shot.
