popping a snake

br Jan 31, 2008 10:21 AM

i recently tried to sex a new addition (yearling tang hondo) and nothing came out when i tried to pop it, does this mean it is a she or did i do something wrong. I've popped cornsnakes before but they were all male.

I would say that if you have popped Corns before, that you have a female Honduran.
But I would advise, if you pop males, no brainer right, you have males. But if the snake doesn't pop, probe it to double check that it is a female.
