i picked up my ball today and she

felt soft? not firm or like that normal tight feeling? i dont pick her up often but she does feel sort of soft? she is 1300 grams. does this mean anything or is this normal? thanks to all!!

That's pretty normal. As long as she doesn't look skinny or seem like she has excess skin. You say she is 1300 grams, but about how long would you guess she is?

i would guess shes about 42" and 30 months old?

Soft - soft like a wet noodle, limp and without any muscle grabbing on to you, but still able to move herself around? Or just a little squishy?

I would worry about the wet noodle feeling, as that is not normal for a ball python, but if she's just a little squishy, or relaxed, that's not a big deal. The biggest thing is her muscle tone - is she holding on to you, gripping and crawling, or is she just...limp?

In any case, doublecheck all your husbandry, make sure temps are fine, etc, just in case. Y'never know!
