How quickly do hatchling's change colors?

Passport Aug 26, 2003 10:24 PM

Just received several new hatchlings today. Exciting to see these little beauties. I'm wondering how quickly will we see the colors changing from the "darkling" to the brilliant? How quickly does the Okeetee begin to change? Does it begin with the first shed? How about the Bloodred? I really don't know what to expect with them but looking forward to the experience.

I'd say it happens more with growth than with age. I've seen some really fast growers change in about 6 months and some slow growers take well over a year. I would guess average would be about 6-10 months.
