Just wandering if anyone has ever heard of them? Vivid reptiles has a picture of some of them. Only a small handfull of people breed them. I did not see any at the Daytona show. I would love to have some some day when I have more space for a larger collection.

Check out this link. Cut and paste into your browser if it does not work. More info on blue eyed lavender kings. Or blue eyed blondes as they are often called. Very neat snakes.

I would like to have some of them one day. Vivid Reptiles breeds them too. is that where your pair came from? Right now I have 3 pairs of california kingsnakes and 1 pair of rosy boas. These snakes I have are all 2003 hatchlings and most of them came from the Daytona show. I barely got back into this hobby this year. One thing about his hobby its very addictive. I plan on breeding my california kings and rosies when they mature.

The link was, in fact, a link to David Weymouth's website (Mountainkings.com). He did, I believe acquire them from Tim Gebhard at VIVID Reptiles. As it was explained to me, they are gorgeous "normal" animals (no albinism) that cannot be found in the wild anymore.
Good Luck,

I love all kinds of kingsnakes. The lavender blue eyeed blondes dont even look real lol. I also would like to have a pair of pyros, outer banks kingsnakes, and eastern kings someday. I live in Ga so I can't have the eastern kingsnakes. But hopefully someday the law will change.

john
