I've found what appears to be a nice looking Thayeri in a local pet store, and I'm sure this has been asked before, but what is the average adult size for a Thayeri? Do they have any special care requirements?

My adult male is about 38" but I think they may reach 48" or so. There is a mexicana subforum at the top of the page to the right where all the thayeri fans hang out. They can certainly point you in the right direction on any of your questions!

Thank you so much for the help. I'm trying to talk myself out of buying the snake, but he's very calm and sociable - if a little cage defensive.
