smallest boa? first snake?

I was wondering what species of boa is the smallest? ans would that species make a good first snake or are they too difficult? any help would be great. thanks

I would suggest a male Nic,no special skills needed,average BCI caresheet will get you going.Their dirt cheap,stay around 5' and can be kept in a 4'x2'x18" for life.if you cant find one for $100 or less shipped in your looking in the wrong places.
