Separation of Babies Beardies

crazyloco Aug 26, 2003 11:23 PM

At what age do you start separating the males and females? I have two females and a male, all 3 months in the same tank(30 gals), none of them has displayed any head bobbing or the dark beard. They all seem to be getting along pretty well, how much longer before I definately have to separate the male from the females? Thanks for any help and suggestions.

I would say safely.. before 5 months. 6 months old may be too late.
