CH Female Pics.........Opinions???

LKirkland Feb 02, 2008 01:51 AM

Here's a few pics of a captive hatched female we picked up recently. I put a normal in with her for comparison. What do you think? Just a light colored normal? Or possibly something else?

I'm really liking her. Especially with that belly. Don't know what she is but think there is a fair chance it's something. Good thing it's a female so nothing to loose by breeding her to see.

I'd be tempted to say that she is some form of FIRE (see pic below). Yes, definitely breed her!

Gorgeous snake. I've got one just like her and I can't wait to get her up to size. Good luck proving her out.

That is a stunning snake. If nothing else, she should at least produce some outstanding looking normals!

I have seen pastels that weren't as bright her.

from all the captive hatched I have ever seen, This one without a doubt i will put money on, it has blushing up the sides, clear belly, different colour and a faded head, could even look like an off colour butter in a way.

Well done and good luck

I think she looks great, and can see a few scenerios playing out.

1-She darkens with age, and by age 2, she looks much darker, and not nearly as nice as she does now, and is probably just a nice light normal baby.

2-She keeps her color, and turns out to be a nice light and high gold normal.

2-She reproduces offspring that look like she does, and then you have a fun project on your hands.

Good luck man!

She is gorgeous! We have a similar female that we got in from Africa that we are trying to prove out this season. We have her breeding with our MOJO male so high hopes of something cool. And she is a ringer to boot!

Here are some shots of her when she was a baby. She has lightened up even more and is awesome. Good luck with your girl.

Here is the only female I have that is a CH animal. She looks a bit more orange than yours, I actually like your animal's appearance more But, as she aged, she turned more gold. I hope your female turns out genetic. Mine did not produce in 06 and slugged out last year. I have decided to use a different male this year, a Sable, and hope I have better results.

That's a bad snake Louis! Looks like a Fire... at the very least that's the kind of animal you want to line breed your Pastels and Lessers to!
