In case you haven't checked other forums or heard the news, there's a potential storm cloud on the horizon for those who breed pythons and boas. The federal government is considering banning interstate commerce on pythons and boas as species that are considered harmful to humans and invasive to the United States.
It seems this potential legislation stems from the problems Florida is having in the Everglades with retics and Burmese pythons that are set free.

Like that old saying goes, the squeakest wheel gets the grease. Time to make your voice heard! This would affect not only breeders but all of us who have collections of these species. If you want to be able to buy the animals you want, breed them or sell to those living outside your state, this affects you.
Consider this to be an important FYI.
