I have heard about people feeding their snakes two mice for a meal. I've always just feed one. Right now I'm feeding my pencil sized knobs a pink every 5 days or so. Would a snake that size be able to stomach two small pinks at once?

My 07 floridana just pounded 4 pinks. The breeder was feeding one pink every 7-10 days, but since I got her in the middle of january, she has had 19 pinks

Most breeders feed once every 7-10 days because of economics. Otherwise they wouldn't make any money breeding. Their neonates would be eating up all their profits. Your neonate, if given the proper heat gradient, could be fed every 2 days, and several pinkys with each feeding. Think about it. What are the odds of a snake coming across a single pinky in the wild? They usually come across litters of rodents, and eat as many as they can. I find that they will let you know when they are full, by not eating.

Work is the curse
of the drinking class!
with young florida kings and especial easterns is to feed them pretty much as much as they want, and they do want!! The whole once a week, 1 mouse per feeding may work ok with corn snakes (even my corns get more than that) but kings seem to be like the great white sharks of the snake world.
I offer my males 1 and my females 2 prey items every 7 days with no problems. I maintain Kings, Corns and Ball Pythons and feed them all like this.
Foot Hill Reptiles
I do almost exactly what Jason described. Two once a week. Except my youngest, who gets three fuzzies if he wants them. Sometimes he only wants two.
