Ban of Boas

jerrytresser Feb 03, 2008 05:11 PM

Identification is no longer a problem since we have methods of determining by chips who owns what. But, Their are more sinister forces at work here. We can control what is here as we have the technology, but when you attmept to prohibit the importation or the movement then thats a different story. I would sure like to know what prompted this attempt to sneak this legislation into law and who is actually behind it. JERRY

I can see bans on imports of wild animals. But I don't even see how they would monitor interstate sales. It is very easy to drive to a neighboring state, and then how do you prove that the animal in question wasn't originally from that state?

Why would they want to shut down an asset for Third World economic development like Boa Farming?
Banning imports would do just that.
That makes no sense.

Chris, if they accomplish the ban, then they can force you to chip whatever inventory you may have. Once they do that then they can determine why a snake in Ill is in Nevada and who the owner is. Its a novel way of a continuous control that will leave a devastation to an already convoluted business. JERRY
