figured with all this crud of the ban going on i would post a few quick pics make ppl drool for a lil while lol

first my lil hummel girl with and without flash

next any1 getting a snake form big mike (basically boas) be ware they think they are tree boas lol this girl ahs a killer grip and climbs 24/7

my big boy who is always all over the place in super cruise mode looking for a girl to do his thang with lol but decided he needed a rest i hate takin pics of him his color NEVER comes out right lol but this is the closest i have got in a long time to his true color its pretty darn close

and last my anticipated pairing lol hypo arab poss het albino and albino poss jungle dont show the albinos color good this pic was a size pic not for color she is more of a smooth cream if you look at front of her body that is close to how her color is anywhos the arab is a 06 baby and albino is a 07 baby odd how close they are in size

my girl form big mike turns every gram of rat into muscle and FAST lol (she comes with kung-fu grip lol) but anywhos she is very very arborieal like when holding her well and in cage to lol but when holding her she is constant tail wrapped TIGHT around my arm and whatever else wrapped around wherever else and when she moves she makes sure to place her body in perfect spots to hold on as tight as possible just wondering if you have ever delt with a bci that was more arboreal then a well my green tree lol or any arboreal snake

Well, none of my BCI cages have "branches" for them to be arboreal in. I do see they will climb on top of their hides quite often. I also have noticed a couple that seem to have a fear of heights, any time they're picked up and not well supported they thrash around trying to get to the ground??

And yeah, just like a big (even bigger) BRB, BCI are all muscle and when they decide to hang onto something, they really do hang on!!!

To me the death grip is not a sign of being truly arboreal, more the sign of an animal that can go arboreal but is not totally comfortable with it. Kind of like a cat in a tree vs a squirel. The cat will move around but holding on tightly. The squirel will bounce around jumping from limb to limb. The cat is afraid of falling while the squirel is not?

my girl is super compfy while being held and moves around well almost like a squirell lol its not like death grip not move its death grip moving around ALOT everythign is just so perfect and exact in her movement and at a pretty nice pace to lol.

anywhos lol the branches are int here cause that was the open cage i had left when i moved things around and figured she would like the extra room and helps me with feeding to lol since i only have very very few bci and only plan on a few i think im gonna do 18 inch cage hieghts or so for every1 when they get to size

weights later today i fed last night wanna let there tummy set for a second before i quick weigh i have to change/give watr to some and change paper since a few like to spill there watre when i feed for some reason grrr darn snakes lol

these are still full bellies from last night.

however the arab gets a bigger meal and has more food in belly lol clost to same length dont ask me to mesure tho lol im waiting for the arabs growth spurt to kick in once he hits wean/small rats i think it will start but for now only pups

so the 06 arab is getting like rat pups or something and if you had to guess how long? I feed my 07 girl every 2 weeks usually, just fed her tonight as well and I'll pull weights on all three of my '07's for you not that you asked

I really like that Hummel girl and you know I love your male so can you say, light baby for Bob and I will be paying with money instead of beer, soap and other bribes that may seem appealing to a man of your staturetake that big guy lol (I think I was smiling the whole time I was typing this post too)

oh man bob length lol i dunno lol but all my snakes eat weekly well smaller ones and certan adults my adult male blood and male jungle carpet get every other week and some of the small/snall medium rat eating boy balls get every other week also but yeah arab is on rat pups almost weened size and the albino is more so small small rat pups the arab is somewhere between 1-2 foot 1 1/2 would be a safe guess roughly he just seems to be a slow grower however he was a small mouse eater when i got him tiny lil feller. looking forward to seeing those pics once you get em up i got some for you well alot for you and every1 lol im doing a super dial up death post sometime its ALOT of work reorginizing photo bucket when you have TONS of pics

When I got my double het sunglows from John Martino they were rail skinny but like 36 inches long and they were born in May I think and he was feeding them about every two to three weeks a rat pink they just grew. Mine is about 42 inches and that is a small rat every two weeks and she is looking for more food for the next 10 out of 14 days but she ain't getting it cuz I have to buy it lol. I would love small weekly feedings but the mouse humping isn't what it needs to be cuz my long stud "Money Mike" died about a month ago and I am having trouble finding him a replacement but he humped every female I ever had for 14 months and I came home one day and he had a pine shaving sticking out of his eye- OUCH!!!! I got a female rat at my work and my boy said they were making whoopy last week so I hope I can get a good litter and have lots of females for my breeding program. Now I'm just babbling again and you said I would take some pics, I didn't say pics but maybe some measurements but my other '07's are eating real small adult for my jungle and adults for my red hypo and stats to be continued.........

darn couldnt getone in on you lol got great animals but never post pics ofthem lol. sorry to hear about money mike that sucks on the plus side i finaly put my rats together about hmm 2-3 weeks ago roughly im bad with days right now due to other thigns as you know lol. but out of my 3 girls 2 are preggo for sure and one dont look it yet so i put the non preggo girl and male in a diff cage and let the porkers be lol cept it dont look like a ping pong ball its more like a grapefruit in my big girl and a tangerine in the smaller girl lol now im in debate mode of co2 kill tank or killing babies or whack and smack lol

but I need these baby rats so I can get my hypo brb on them so she can fill out cuz she is slender

on my main screen I have a few things to select like

red tails
rainbow boas
favorite pics

under redtails I have all mine that I have pics of which is all

05 bci
07 female possible jungle
07 double het female
07 doulbe het male
07 red hypo female

under rainbows same thing......

if I'm taking a pic of my hypo brb on say Feb. 3 of this year and I have three pics, I label them

hypobrbfemale20308pic(copy this part)
then just add 1,2,3 to the different pics

very easy to label and if you click on the pic you have date and name of snake or type of snake......

under forum pics I have about 12 or so people pics I steal and thus they have their own little section of pics and I label their pics as well so I can tell who's snake it is and what the hell it is lol. hope it helps but if it didn't then I hopes someone else

that is EXACTLY 100% how i am setting it up but things are all over the place so im trying to move them from old to new and in folders of how you explained lol im very very scared lol cept i dont have a forum/whatever thign for stealing pics from ppl lol i prolly should make somethign like that i bet it would come in usefull then i could steal all of daves amber pics lol

everything is so clean and if you pay attention on how you click on these items to transfer your pics, meaning if you go around and start picking from the earliest pics to the most recent then they are transferred in the order you clicked on them so they can be in order again (OCD told me to do it that way

when i uploaded originaly i never put anythign in order so i have to go thru pages of crud looking for oldest pics first lol speaking of OCD lol if you wanna use it twards somethign usefull you can come here and shovel the 20 inches of snow we are supposed to get lol grap shovel push lift dump repeat lol

but shoveling snow, I like coconut snowballs, and if no one is around to see my teeth turn colors then I'll have a wild cherry one pleaselol but no shoveling snow in my future though Tim

lol ill leave that one alone bob no need to get this whole thread deleted lol

For my pics, I always label them the same way...

Year_month_day snake name pic number

actual example:

2007_09_19 Calico pic 01

By putting the year_month_day first (in that order) it allows sorting by date so you will have the photo record in sequence

And like BOB and Tim are doing, subdirectories!!!

On my main menu I have things like

2007 babies
BCI
BRB

in the BRB folder are:

2007 breeding
Female
Male

and in each of those are subfolders for each animal.

I have all the originals in a similar subdirectory structure.

I even have a folder on my PC photobucket uploads where I store pics that are processed and resized ready to upload. Once uploaded, I move to a subdirectory already loaded.

yeha i plan on labling dates type thing from now on out lol i cn do a few but i have to look thru tons of misc folder in mycomputer pics lol that right there is beyond a nightmare lol but man its gonna be so much nicer and easier doing things this way i was so sick of guessing where and who and when etc type thing

Yeah, I can only imagine going through my pics now trying to figure out what was what without proper filenames. At least if you start now, you won't add to the problem??

exactly lol this is why im doing it now labeling what i can and moving things into proper folders so in the future wont have to worry its my girls photo bucket and i kinda took it over and never thougth about making it nice till recent lol plus she goes pic crazy with the digi cam lol

im hopin it brings him out of hiding he has some great great stuff and is a great guy it was nice meeting him at tinley and i now know how to sex boas by palpating and got pretty darn good at it to lol.

as far as the BCI dont get me started lol i never wanted one thought they were cool just never my thing ha lol here i am now with 3 of them had 4 but sold my other one and now i have yet to get a motley still and a suriname yeah i know BCC but same general thing
