New Zealand Green Gecko (Naultinus Elegans)

antonm Aug 27, 2003 01:42 AM

I'm pretty sure these are illegal in the US as pets but does anyone have one? They look extremely cool and unique. If anyone does have one, how much did it cost you? I think I saw a figure along the lines of 15,000 somewhere but it may have been 150.00 not sure....

There are some people in the US who have them. They are very rare in captivity as New Zealand does not allow exporting or importing of any reptiles (not sure what other animals). They are expensive, but not $15,000. They will cost you about $1,500 per animal.
You seem to have a taste for rare and hard to get geckos. You better get to know the right people and get a lot of hard cash!
