One of my females ovulated last week and she was HUGE, but her ovulation was over a 3 day period. The the first day she was noticably larger and I thought finally she ovulated. Day two she was HUGE and there was no doubt it was ovulation, then day three she was smaller, but still large like day 1. I thought ovulation was usually over a few hour period. Is it normal for ovulation to take so long?? Thanks!

Female ovulations can be long or short, I think it's a good sign to have a long ovulation. Balls will also pre-swell sometimes too, they swell for a day or so and then a few days later they swell up again but usually bigger. I think thats when some people get confused about ovulations and if they witnessed it or not. But when it really happens you know!! the ol' swallowed a football syndrome
