HE'S HERE! - OT

SO my carpet chameleon came today, unfortunately my big boss Mike (he signs my checks) was talking to me about one of our policies and wouldnt quit it until about 15 minutes after I had signed for the package. Mike dislikes the critters I bring into work so I try to avoid upsetting him (he also doesnt like clowns, but then who does?). Anyway, my new addition finally got to come out of his box and stretch a little bit, he is a hit at the office already.
I was able to snap one decent shot when I took him home. I will upload it as soon as I can. I have it with me here at work but I am swamped. I just had enough time to sneak in this qucik post

Congrats Jess, will be waiting for the pics!!!

And just don't make the "nobody likes clowns" comment to my next door neighbors. They are actually clowns, funny wigs, face paint and big nose clowns. Yes, when I refer to the "Clowns next door" it's not necessarily a bad thing (at least not always)

Here are a couple. They're kinda crappy he was very tired looking when I pulled him outta the box and I wanted to get him to water and crickets as soon as I could. He changes color really quickly but hasnt been showing any reds yet. Mainly a huge array of blues.

Yeah my mom had to hold him before he went into the cage so I snapped a couple really quick. Took only a minute or so. My mom is keeping an eye on him making sure she is spraying the cage plenty and all that. I cant WAIT to get home.

I dont mind at all, I got him from Chameleonsbydesign.com he is wild caught and I paid $150, $100 for the chameleon and $50 for shipping. He has a 36 tall by 19X19 metal screen cage. This is just left over from what I bought with my veiled chameleon, he could probably use a smaller cage and I might buy one of the exoterra ones later. I havent decided yet.
I had a good transaction with the guy from chameleonsbydesign, I know he had two females left when I was picking out my male I dont know if he still has them or not but they looked pretty good I could forward you the email if you want to check them out.

Judging from the pics he might actually be a she. If I'm not totally mistaken males tend to be more greenish and be more muted when it comes to colour.

No, its definately a boy, if he was a human I would tell him to pull the banana outta his pants. He has the big lump at the beginning of his tail.
