BRB breeding season starting.....

rainbowsrus Feb 05, 2008 03:31 PM

LOL, I checked on them last night and found Fred and Wilma together in the "jacuzi". When I recorded the activity I was quite surprised to see the correlation with last year.

01/29/2007 mating - 01/23/2008 mating
02/06/2007 mating - 02/04/2008 mating

Does this mean the litter will be two to three days earlier in 2008?

Thanks,

That's pretty neat, maybe they celebrate Valentine's Day, just a little earlier than most. Hey, how about we have a pool - we all guess, and whoever is closest to the date/time of the birth gets the runt of the litter??

Thanks,
Ed

Ummmm let me think about that.......nope!!!

Seriously, you might not want the "runt" I do have one problem child from 2007, non eater. 4 months old and has only eaten one pinky mouse and that was force fed. Getting close to surrender time.

... I would take it either way. Remember, I have an Indigo snake. A euthanized baby brb would be a nice meal for him.

That's too bad, though, must be tough seeing the little guy go
down hill.

Thanks,
Ed

That's the hard part, it's not like she's going downhill, just not going up hill either. Not going anywhere....

your not the only one it took months and alot of visible weight loss before i gave in and force fed but sometimes just needs to be done after long enough time and all other options tried and failed

Lucky you! I still haven't seen any interest with mine. BUT, it is still early.
