Bugs in substrate

I changed the sunstrate in my cage today. I noticed little white bugs in the substrate. What are they? Where did they come from? Are they harmful? How do i get rid of them?

Not sure if they'll hurt your snake but natural chemistry makes a stuff called de flea. Try it, it's pretty good, safe, and kills mites on contact.
