four horned? Tough species man. Much like a Jacksons and usually they are WC. Theck reptiledepot.com - they had them last I looked.

I would stay away from a 4 horned. You would need to set up a misting system and a bunch of other stuff. I bought a Jacksons and they are similiar from what I understand. SOmetimes I wish I would have bought a Panther. would have made life a bit easier. it is tough to cool a cage down at night. easier to heat one up.

for a cage for 2 to 3 of them - you would want a small green house or something about 12x12x12

Chams dont like each other unless mating - and then they tolerate it. very solo creatures. they stress really easily and other reptiles or anything in eyesight causes more stress.

you wont want him to see your other herps.

Quads are a really neat species to work with.
I started with Jacksons, and then Quads were my follow up. Identical care, but, can be stubborn as hell. If you were to change their cage around, they would throw a fit. Instaead of getting pissy, they would just stop eating.. (What's with that chameleon mentality anyway)

They require a lot of time, but once they get situated, they thrive. A lot of my old school chameleon buddies had trouble with them. A lot of their trouble had to do with over medicating during deparasitation. I didn't use injections. Just a few oral doses after a few weeks, with food. Just to aid the cham to naturally shed the parasite loads.

I would check out Reptile Depot, I believe they have some in stock. At times LLLreptile has them in as well. I currently have 2.3 quadricornis. The adult male was wc, I got him from Reptile Depot as an adult two years ago and he is still doing well. I have one captive born and bred female which is 3 years old and 1.2 six month old second generation babies.

Some websites that have been helpful have been www.deerfernfarms.com and www.adcham.com both have very good info. Many on this forum assisted me when I got my first quads. I think if you ask smart questions that are well thought out, people will respond. I keep my adults separated in 2x3x2 foot cages. I have not had any problems keeping this species. I have them in my basement which is at approx. 70 degrees year round. I use a 60 watt incandescent light and repti-sun bulbs.
Hope this helps.

Jim
