Fun Zoo Pics

meretseger Aug 27, 2003 08:06 AM

I went to the Columbus Zoo and I thought I'd share my pics. They have a few cool hots. No old world vipers, though, which kind of disappoints me. The one of the Suphan cobra came out rather well, most of the rest were pretty bad.

Good pics. That reminds me that I need to post my pics from the St. Louis zoo (awesome herp collection btw!!) from back in....March...lol. You may wanna take a quick peak and see if you mean to say edb when you said "timber" Anyway, I'll see if I can remember to get my pics uploaded and posted sometime soon.

Most likely.. they have a bunch of rattlers and I had no way to take notes. For some reason I'm perpetually hopeless at snake identification. It's already changed.

The Aruba Rattlesnake isn't really an Aruba Rattlesnake...it's a Crotalus durissus ssp., but not unicolor. Good pics, though....

I should have brought a notepad... They HAD Arubas there, I swear! The durissus is the 'neotropical rattler', right?

Yep...or Cascabel.
