ahhh the good old days...

Those who have full racks of them these days would be hesitant to sell. Not sure if you can still gey any made.

As for bigger cages, I use Boaphiles, and there are many similar cage styles out there.

The standard Boaphile is a 4' model, 11" high, which is good for space efficiency with breeders keeping several hundred animals.
They also make a higher model, I believe 18" high with a built in shelf as an extra level inside.

There are also Visions and others.

I'm sure others would chime in with their favorite cage makers.

Take care, Joe

You can still find used Neodeshas. I know many keepers who will only use them to this day.

Out of the current cages on the market I have used Boaphile, Proline, and Animal Plastics. In my opinion the other plastic cage companies are derivatives of these companies.

I tried all 3 to find out what worked best for me. I prefer the Animal Plastics cages with sliding glass doors.

I like the Proline more than the Boaphile because the HDPE is easier to clean, and much stronger than PVCx.

PVCx, being a foamed plastic, is absorbent as well. While this helps thermally, it also leaves you with stains from urates or other waste. HDPE is used in the food industry and is FDA approved. AP uses CDPVC, which is denser than PVCx and seems to lose the negatives, though it is still weaker than HDPE.

My advice would be to check out as many options as you can in person, and then try a few different ones as trial tests for yourself. Then go with what works best for you.

For big cages I don't think you can do better than the visions. You will need to consider what your snake room is like. Are you going to heat the whole room? Will the humidity in the room be atleast 40-50%?

We have far more good choices than in the past.
