Male or Female

So heres the thing I got a snake from this guy. He originally said she was a female but then I found he hasnt had her sexed, not a huge deal but he told me he knew she was a female because females grow faster and thicken up faster... Any truth to this because I havent read it in any forum yet but I could've missed something. He got her in the spring of 2006 and she was 3months old then. Here are some pics any help is useful...Thanks!

Nope, I've seen some big fat males that were bigger than some smaller females. There is no hard rule about sizes and growth rates of males vs. females.

The only way to know sex for sure on a snake that size and age is to probe it.

I purchased a baby ball python in Spring of 2006. I thought it was a female because of the growth, but the vet confirmed it male. He is now 4 1/2' long and I thought males didnt get that big.
