If the reptiles were worth so much why didnt they just sell them to pay the morgage?Or at the least get some money out of it and find good homes for them.The gila monsters alone must have been worth a bundle.THere are always options like local Reptile Societies that will take unwanted reptiles as well.
I just dont get it.....

That's just sad! There are people all over that would have taken any of those animals in! There is a tortice rescue literaly right down the road from that house! I've said it once and I'll say it again, high desert folks are a strange bunch.
