What exactly constitutes a funny looking fecal? Does anybody have any description so I know that my leo does not have a parasite. Her tail is still plump and she is still active, just not eating.

You might want to pick up the book "Understanding Reptile Parasites" by Roger Klingenberg. In the meantime, if you think you may have hookworms, you could compare what you see to these pictures on my site:

But by far, that book's the best investment. Pictures and drawings of all major reptile parasites, and lots of good info on diagnosis and treatment.

Great job on that post. What type of microscope did you use for the pics?
You can also see some pics of Pinworm eggs and a possible tape egg on a post I made on the Health forum - forum.kingsnake.com/health/messages/5997.html

Thanks much. I've got an old mono-scope I got from my father-in-law. I'm surprised pictures taken by just pointing the camera at the eyepiece worked so well.

Those are pretty nice - I can tell ya for sure that the last one is an animal part. Probably mealworm, if that's supported by the diet. I see lots of those in the fecals I do. I'm gonna bookmark that page for my own reference - color examples are always nice to have. What's the magnification on those? (Sorry for not posting in that thread, but since I'm blabbing here already ...
).
