Hypo belly shot

brhaco Feb 07, 2008 05:42 PM

Okay guys, here it is. Belly shot of the hypo compared to a normally colored red western from the same parents. First the normal, then the Hypo. What do you think?

The fact that he hatched out from two normal parents, a pair I'd bred several times before! Apparently a spontaneous mutation. Now I have to prove it out.

Is your spider from a pastel or hypo bloodline? I've got a male from that bloodline that resembles the same color dorsally as yours,(diff. pattern though), and the belly looks very similar as well.

Nice hypo

Will you be at narbc?

brhaco Feb 12, 2008 04:56 PM

My spider is from a nice linebred high-red bloodline, but no pastels or hypos in the ancestry to my knowledge. Just have to wait and see how breeding trials come out.

We were originally planning to attend NARBC, but some conflicts came up on that weekend-unless our schedule gets unravelled we'll have to (reluctantly) give it a miss.
