How to bring them out of hibernation?

pek296 Feb 08, 2008 03:45 AM

My collareds are currently still cooling. I want to bring them out soon, but this is my first time doing this and I really don't know how to. I was thinking of increasing the cooler temperature they're in from 55f to 60-61f, perhaps 62 within a three day period. Then put them in their enclosure with fluorescent lighting on for 8-10 hours only, adding 1/2 hour each day. On the third day, start offering food, turn the basking lights on and continue to increase both the fluorescent and basking light. What do you guys advice?

Hi, just reverse what your suppose to do when you start (another words, go backwards....) Put them in there tank with only the flouresant uvb light on for few days/ some say a week, then turn on heat.

THEN when they get nice and heated and look spunky again offer food.
