Beautiful snakes. That '05 Bodner female looks like she has very clean sides. Was "Orange cheek" the father?

You know it, orange cheek was her father and a very nice clean Vivid Reptiels leonis was the mom

Excellent. Is she big enough to breed yet or does she have another year to go?

Michelle,

I know you are working to obtain "low to no black" and that you prefer MSP thayeri. Orange Cheek (VR) is one of the only MSP animals I have seen that has a relatively low level of black (at least on the first third of his body). I was just wondering what you have been able to achieve thus far with the low black MSP animals and if that is your main direction for future generations.

Just wondering.

I remember Mitch Allen was also working on the "no black" thayeri.....Here is Leonis one he used to have......It sorta looks MSP....LOL

John, I remember that one, is she one you lost or do you know who has her? I was wondering what she turned out to look like as an adult.

Maria,
So far no msp's that are reduced except orange cheek. The reduced animals I have are applegates and have never produced a msp when put together. Now this year I am going to change males up and see what happens. Orange cheek does throw animals with low black, I have one of his daughters that is from a Evan Stahl female that Mike bred that is very low black. Now the other daughter I have of his is from a breeding Mike did with a female from John Lassiter and she still has low black but a lot of speckling so my hopes are next year to put him back with his daughter off of the Evan Stahl female and see what happens, I believe it will be a greatly reduced black msp. I will try and get some pictures of her. I will be honest though my taste have changed and i kind of like the faint hints of black verses the no black I like the defintion of the black on the saddles.
Take care,
