Jaguar carpet questions

lexxxx300 Feb 08, 2008 06:16 PM

I love the way this snake looks. I don't know too much about them. I'm not sure what has a better look coastal, jungles, bredl's jag. Are they all basically the same as adults. Are their different patterns with less abberancies. Can some one direct me to a breeder of these animals. Pics would also be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Jaguars are very variable, which is part of the fun. It was really great hatching out some coastal jags and jungle jags last season because you get to see the variation and different appearances of these snakes. I would recommend doing a google search to find different jaguar images to see the variability. As for what jaguars are nicer, it is basically what floats your boat. I really like the jungle jags, but it is hard to beat a nice coastal jaguar. Here are some images of our jaguars.

As you can see there is some nice variation even from the same clutch. There are some amazing double morphs out there as well such as granite jags, tiger jags, etc. Good luck in your search. They are definitely a must have carpet.
