Regurge and temps

Joeycoco98 Feb 08, 2008 06:57 PM

Ok, I have two Kankakee bulls. The are kept in identical conditions. Four foot animal plastic cages. I keep the day temp at 85 and the night temps at 75. One bull has never regurged and on has done it twice. she ate two small rats her last meal. The interesting thing is tonight she passed one as waste and the other came out as regurge with only the head completely digested. Are my temps to high? I know not to feed for a couple of weeks after a regurge I am more concerned about the temps.

Thanks Miller

miller, i'd say that 85* is much too high for northern bulls. i've always kept my kanakees at room temp w/ no problems of any kind. simpler, cheaper & safer too. good luck w/ her......
