'07 MBK Question

greenbay1 Feb 09, 2008 09:19 AM

Got my first MBK this week. It has the lateral spots but they are red. Also the ventral scales have red spots. This is a deep red. Everything I have read about the juvenile spots mentions they are white or yellow. Is red normal or could she actually be a cross?

Well, I've tried getting a photo but it isn't working out. The ventral scales are blotched red - a deep red. The spots are a deep red with the occasional yellow ones. It is a female and approximately 14" long.
