Lazy Leopards

Lamiellm Feb 09, 2008 09:28 AM

Got a question for you guys! My leopards are lazy!! They are used to eating mealworms from a dish and that is all they will do. They will not chase food!! Crickets nothing. They dont even chase them. They just look at them crawl around. Any suggestions? Another thing...even if I let mealworms crawl around out of the dish they just look at them! LOL Any help would be great!

I guess they are just smart....why chase food around when you can just eat it from a dish? lol, a friend of mine spoiled one of his by hand feeding. He will only eat if he is hand feed now, so it looks like you might have a problem on your hands. Remove the dish and wait 2-3 days and see if they return to hunting when they become hungry.....well get another opinion too, my idea might not be the best.

I was going to suggest letting them go hungry for a few days and see if that changes their tune.
