A Quick Question

Paradon Feb 09, 2008 09:41 AM

What does hypo mean? I've seen this word been used around often, but I'm not sure what it means. I think one of my leopard gecko is hypo because she has very little black dots on her...if that means anything.

Hypo-: Prefix meaning "low, under, beneath, down, below normal" In the Leopard Gecko case, the word "Hypo" before any phase means little or no spotting on the body.

Thank you! So, if what you are saying is true, then all the patternless are hypo, too, is that correct? So, I would have one hypo which is high yellow and the other one is yellow patternless.
