Hey all,
Im heading to Southern-Central California on the last week of March. I've gotten a lot of info about the snakes, but i'm lacking on Amphibians species. Here's what I'm hoping to find:
-A. californiense - California Tiger Salamander
-B. campi - Inyo Mountains Salamander
-B. diabolicus - Hell Hollow Slender Salamander
-B. gabrieli - San Gabriel Mountains Slender Salamander
-B. gregarius - Gregarius Slender Salamander
-B. kawia - Sequoia Slender Salamander
-B. nigriventris - Black-bellied Slender Salamander
-B. regius - Kings River Slender Salamander
-B. relictus - Relictual Slender Salamander
-B. robustus - Kern Plateau Slender Salamander

-B. stebbinsi - Tehachapi Slender Salamander
-E. e. croceater - Yellow-blotched Ensatina

-E. e. klauberi - Large-blotched Ensatina
-E. e. platensis - Sierra Nevada Ensatina
-H. brunus - Limestone Salamander
-H. platycephalus - Mount Lyell Salamander
-H. sp. - Owens Valley Web-toed Salamander)*
-T. t. torosa - Coast Range Newt
-T. t. sierrae - Sierra Newt
Frogs and Toads:
-B. b. halophilus - California Toad
-B. californicus - Arroyo Toad
-B. canorus - Yosemite Toad
-B. exsul - Black Toad
-S. hammondii - Western Spadefoot
-R. boylii - Foothill Yellow-legged Frog
-R. aurora draytonii - California Red-legged Frog
-R. sierrae - Sierra Nevada Yellow-legged Frog
-R. muscosa - Southern Mountain Yellow-legged Frog
I know most of these have low probability with the limited time i have(especially the Batrachoseps) but any info would be great on these species. And yeah since this is a long list the herps i'd most like to see would be the hydromantes, Ensatinas, Yosemite and Black Toad and the Rana species. And also, if you dont know me, I only photograph. Thanks
