I had an idea at lunch today. I know there are a lot of people out there that are not aware of this possible ban.
My idea is for the breeders to print up some flyers and in every box they ship out, put a flyer inside- describing the ban, include the link to the F&W comment site- and what the F&WD is looking for in thier responses, and possibly an example of what sould be said... as well as other links- like the one here on kingsnake.... or other sites..

I am going to contact the people putting on our little show here next weekend and see if i can bring some flyers to them to set out on the table.

There are a lot of people that attend reptile shows and buy snakes from out of state- just to get a pet- and there are several people i've talked to today that had no idea something like this was going on...

also- maybe at these big shows- all the breeders could give any buyers a flyer when they buy an animal-- and have some sitting out available for the taking...

anyway- it was just a thought- i was made very aware today that the vast majority of reptile hobbiests really DONT know about this possible ban....

I think that is a great idea. I think even local pet stores could use some too. I'm going to make some up tonight and tomorrow I'll start off at the local Petco, and during the week other places too.
