Yeah I know it's gettin old... But I just love showing them off..

This is my Hypo X Bloodred male. So technically he is 'only' het for Hypo and het for Bloodred. Luckily for me in Bloodred and Hypo does first generation outcross show all characteristics from both morphs.

I buy it in teh petshop. It is wood particles made for birdcages. It is sterile and heavy (when a bird ruffles it's feathers it won't be blown away).

Oh cool thanks marcel, by the way I have just a few more questions:

1. Do those work well for your corn snakes? (Any problems?)

2. Are they expensive?

3. How often do you need to mist that substrate?

4. Do you put a different substrate in their hide spots? (Peat moss maybe?)

Thanks

2) Very cheap. 20 kilos $20
3) Once a week
4) No problem.

Well, the mother was a Hypo and the father a Bloodred. Bloodred characteristics are fading pattern and creeping red on a checkerless belly.. As you can see on the pic he almost doesn't have checkers and the red is creeping allright.
