What kinds of fruits & vegetables?

nyrich44 Feb 10, 2008 11:14 AM

I have 10 Eastern hatchlings that I have been feeding a variety of worms and also the Repto-min baby sticks. I was wondering what kind of fruits & veggies can I give to hatchlings. My adults eat all kinds but i wasnt sure I could give them to the hatchlings. Any advice would be appreciated. I also picked up some Zoo-med canned box turtle food but I havent tried that yet how is that food for them.

Anything the adults eat should be OK for the hatchlings, if they'll eat it. Strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, cantaloupe, apples, bananas, pears, any kind of squash chopped small, sweet potato-mine eat all of these, along with worms, slugs, snails, small insects and Reptomin. Mix several things together and they'll gradually pick them all up.
